International Certification Bio Suisse AG (ICB AG) is the certification body for products of operations producing outside Switzerland for the Bio Suisse market.

Nine out of ten of these farmers, processors and traders have their raw materials and products certified by ICB AG.

ICB AG having its registered office at Basel certifies the following kinds of operations according to Bio Suisse Standards: organic farming, processing, trade, wild collection, beekeeping, mushroom cultivation and aquaculture. For these certifications ICB AG has been accredited governmentally by the Swiss Accreditation Service (SAS).

ICB AG was established in 2013 as subsidiary of Bio Suisse. Bio Suisse is the leading organic organisation in Switzerland and owner of the label ‘Bud’. This umbrella association founded in 1981 represents the interests of its more than 7’000 Bud farmers and horticulturalists. Moreover, more than 1’000 licensed processing and marketing companies produce or trade in Bud foodstuffs.
